Ahead of the 2025 French Open Adidas Announces Sporty & Rich Collection Collab
The Roland-Garros looking athletic wear features casual looks that work beyond the tennis court.
If you’ve ever wished you could bottle that crisp, clean feeling of stepping onto a sunlit tennis court—fresh balls, fresh whites, and all the promise of a perfect rally—Adidas and Sporty & Rich have just served up your dream wardrobe.
This May, the two sports brands reignite their partnership with a collection that blurs the baseline between performance and lifestyle, reminding us that great tennis fashion always finds its way from the court to the street.
Don’t expect top Adidas ambassadors to wear this gear during matches at the French Open. While the Sporty & Rich collab could be worn on the court, it’s not made from high-performance materials. You’ll see Alexander Zverev and Jessica Pegula in something else at Roland-Garros. This collection gives that sassy preppy folk-headed-to-brunch vibe.
Timeless Tennis, Reimagined
If you’ve never heard of Sporty & Rich, maybe that’s because you’re neither sporty nor rich. I'm just kidding. It’s a niche brand perfect for today’s influencer culture. According to British GQ, the brand started as an Instagram mood board.
Sporty & Rich is the creation of Los Angeles-based “culturepreneur” Emily Oberg. What’s a culturepreneur? A culture vulture influencer. Now, that’s my definition.
Oberg is an attractive, rich woman who grew up in Canada. She’s an expert at marketing herself and her brands—like Kardashian lite. She wants Sporty & Rich to be the next Goop. She’s well on her way. What started as an Instagram page is reportedly a $30 million business with a flagship store in New York.
Give Oberg credit. A tennis lover, she took a hobby and made it into a multi-million-dollar brand. The lookbooks on the Sporty & Rich website are like Instagram posts. And she has hundreds of thousands of followers who take her beauty, wellness and lifestyle advice.
Oberg’s Sporty & Rich has made a name for itself by channeling the golden age of leisurewear—think vintage country clubs, prep-school gatherings, and a dash of old-school swagger. Now, teaming up with Adidas Originals, the brand brings its signature style to two of Adidas’s most storied silhouettes: the early-2000s-inspired ADIZERO ADIOS and the retro-cool Adidas Originals Blanc, a style straight out of the 1970s.
These looks are nothing new, but they're cute as hell. They range from sophisticated country club attire to ball-kid chic.
The ADIZERO ADIOS Sporty & Rich is a throwback to classic tennis trainers. It boasts a two-tone mesh upper, gradient three stripes, and an ADIPRENE outsole for that feather-light step, whether you’re chasing down a drop shot or a downtown brunch reservation. Available in green and midnight navy, these kicks are a masterclass in understated cool, with just enough branded detail to let the sneakerheads know you know.

Meanwhile, the adidas Originals Blanc Sporty & Rich sneaker is all about duality. One version flips the script with crisp white leather and green suede stripes, while the other goes all-in on lush green suede with white leather accents. Both pairs get the finishing touch: a tennis racket lace charm and co-branded details that wink at the sport’s storied past.
Court Classics for Everyday Champions

This collection aces the assignment with a lineup that’s as ready for a rally as it is for a rooftop party. There’s a classic polo, a graphic tee, and a tank for those who like their style with a side of sweat. Shorts and skorts keep things breezy, while a heavy knit sweater channels vintage varsity vibes for cooler nights.
Accessories round out the look: a canvas bag for your gear or groceries.
So whether you’re a diehard on the baseline or just love the look of a crisp white sneaker, this collection is your invitation to play. The Adidas Originals x Sporty & Rich collection launches May 30 on sportyandrich.com and adidas.com, just in time for week two of the French Open.
you nailed it...goop gone sporty!
