Nike x NorBlack NorWhite: A Bold New Chapter for Indian Sport Style
Nike's latest blends Indian culture and sports.
Whenever I ask someone what the most popular sports in the world are, most people are correct in naming soccer (futbol) as No. 1. But after that, I get American football, basketball, and even tennis.
Nope. Cricket is the second most popular sport in the world. And when it comes to cricket, India is front and center. So, how cool is it that Nike features Indian female athletes and Indian-inspired designs for women in its latest collection?
The latest drop from Nike isn’t just a fashion statement — it’s a cultural conversation. The Nike x NorBlack NorWhite collection, launched last week, reimagines athletic wear through the lens of Indian tradition and modern womanhood.

In a space where women athletes are often told how to look and act, this collaboration flips the script. Known for their vibrant reworking of Indian textile techniques, NorBlack NorWhite brings the centuries-old art of bandhani — a tie-dye craft rooted in Gujarat and Rajasthan — to Nike’s performance and lifestyle gear. The result? A collection that’s as loud and proud as the women it’s made for.
These pieces aren’t built to blend in. From color-drenched tights and bras to four bold footwear options, including the Pegasus 41 and Air Max Craze, every item feels like a rallying cry. There’s also a cross-body bag that finishes the look with function and flair.
The campaign stars Indian sports standouts like wrestler Anshu Malik, sprinter Priya Mohan, and cricket’s dynamic duo, Jemimah Rodrigues and Shafali Verma—all wearing pieces that feel as rooted in tradition as they are ready for the next workout.
"This collab isn’t just style — it’s a flex," Jemimah said in a Nike press release. "It’s us, in full color, saying we belong here. And we’re ready to win. Boldly.”

I don’t play cricket, but these colors and designs work with any activity. From the shoes to the sporty crop tops, this collab is cute, cute, cute.
