US Open 2025: US Open Legends Unite for Star-Studded Exhibition
‘Stars of the Open’ Exhibition Under the Lights will bring out legends Venus Williams, John McEnroe and Andre Agassi and young stars Coco Gauff and Joao Fonseca.
Tennis fans, get ready: the US Open is serving up another epic night as legends new and old return for one of the summer’s hottest exhibitions—‘Stars of the Open, a fan’s event taking center stage at Arthur Ashe Stadium on Thursday, August 21, a week before the US Open.
The lineup reads like a Grand Slam roll call. Fresh off her latest Roland Garros crown , Coco Gauff leads the charge, joined by promising talent Joao Fonseca. But it’s the Hall of Fame firepower that sets this show apart: Andre Agassi (eight-time major winner), Venus Williams and John McEnroe (each with seven Grand Slam singles titles), American ace Andy Roddick, 2009 US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro, and wheelchair tennis stars Dana Mathewson and Casey Ratzlaff all return to the New York spotlight.
And, as always, expect wildcards off-court as sports and entertainment celebrities make surprise cameos. Past editions saw NBA superstar Jimmy Butler hustling on the Ball Crew and Sebastian Yatra dueling it out on court alongside Carlos Alcaraz and Frances Tiafoe. Check out last year’s event below.
Tickets start at $25 on USOpen.org and Ticketmaster, with proceeds supporting the USTA Foundation and the NJTL network, helping kids nationwide develop on and off the court. It’s an affordable way to see superstars on Arthur Ashe.
Can’t make it to Flushing Meadows? ESPN+ will broadcast the event.
