Wimbledon 2025: Preview of the Original Penguin Kits
The Original Penguin kits you'll see at the All England Club work as well on the golf course or pickle ball courts.
This year, Wimbledon will rely on electronic line calls, eliminating the lines judges. While the most prestigious and traditional Grand Slam tournament moves forward with technology, Wimbledon’s fashion continues to throw back.
In Courtside Coffee’s latest fashion preview for Wimbledon 2025, Original Penguin showcases its retro chic style with kits featuring classic tailoring. Take a look at the wooden racket in the photo, featuring Ajla Tomljanovic wearing the Veronica dress. Remember when a wooden racket was the cutest accessory for a dress like that?
The moisture-wicking dress is lightweight, offering enhanced stretch for added comfort, and features a classic polo collar. Think 1970s Wimbledon. Margaret Court and Billie Jean King could have strolled onto Centre Court wearing this dress. Fast forward to 2025, and Tomljanovic can wear this dress to play golf or pickleball.

For men, you get a modern take on traditional tennis style. This polo and shorts combo is classic enough for old-school players, yet trendy enough for Gen Z. The Performance Shorts feature Stretch 360 and a drawstring waist to enhance range of motion.
Original Penguin Ambassador, Mackie McDonald, will need all the range of motion he can get because he faces big-serving Karen Khachanov in the first round on Monday. Although these shorts are shown in Wimbledon white, they are also available in light blue and gray.
Completing the Original Penguin Wimbledon look is the women's tennis tank, as worn by Jodi Burrage, a British player who received a wildcard for both the singles and doubles draws.
Loving all these classic, retro looks for Wimbledon 2025. Stay tuned for more sneak peeks.
